I've been to Bali 18 times as well as many times to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia and Borneo, India, the Middle east and other parts of Indonesia and have never had any vaccinations or taken malaria tablets and have never been sick. On the other hand a friend has just come back from her first trip to Bali and was very sick with typhoid so i guess it's the luck of the draw? Also hubby took malaria tablets when we went to Laos and Cambodia and they made him quite ill so he stopped taking them.
