So after much searching I have come up with the following information. I can purchase a sim card to use with an unlocked australian phone. As first stop for me is Sanur, I can purchase the afore mentioned card at Hardy's. Correct so far. Can anybody tell me what the cost of a call to Aust. and or Bali and the same for texting both to Oz and in Bali? I know that you are all going to say it will vary, but rough guestimate will do. I am weighing up whether it is worth the effort to buy another sim in view of the fact that optus currently charges $6 per minute to call home and the nearly $1 to text. Thank you in anticipation. Oh yes and I will staying 17 days in total.
