If its the one in Tuban, Just at top of Kuta square I have stayed there and thouroughly enjoyed it. Staff where great and everything is very close. Pool area was really nice too. I never heard much noise, not really near clubs. they have a sports bar downstairs but. As for rumors, A while back the Padma (The 'best' in Kuta/Legian) had major issues with sickness. Not sure what the rumor was but usually if someone gets a case of it like a gastro bug, many others will fall ill. Not really the hotels fault, but then again after I heard that about Padma I didnt stay... just incase..
