Hi Ruby, Not a huge number of lounges but I never had a problem getting one and what was good there didn't seem to be too many lounge-hogs as you get at some hotels. Yes it is sunny but later in the day as the pool is surrounded by building it can get shady but personally that suited me. I only stayed at the hotel but did walk around to the suite area and it seemed very nice.
