On the northern beaches of Sydney there are tractors which tow a huge 'sand sifter' up and down the beach every morning.
Last week in Kuta I saw one of these in action and I was impressed but then saw all the trash just piled up like a mini mountain up near the walking path!
They have the right idea.
My daughter also bought a heap of purses 'allegedly' made from the plastic bags washed up on the beaches in Bali. A nice idea if it is real.
