I stayed there last April and while the hotel was fully booked, I did not once have to fight for a lounge chair. I did use the smaller pool area so that may be why, but it was good.
There are no room safes, but they have them at reception. It is a good hotel and has lovely grounds and pools. The rooms have comfortable new mattresses, clean fresh linen and towels.
