I did this with my two girlfriends last September and we thoughly enjoyed the day. We had 16 in our class with the majority from Australia and a couple from the UK. We did the morning class where we went to the market in Kuta then to the classroom in Tuban. I booked through Bali Discovery Tours for $50US each which was cheaper that going direct through their website. Check out their website as there are different menus for each day. Usually prepare and cook about 10 dishes and then sit down to eat them. They pick you up from your hotel and also drop you back, included in the price.
