any hotels charge high season rates anywhere in the month of June.
The official high season starts somewhere between the 1st and 15th of July, and ends somewhere between the 31st August and 15th September.
Occasionally you'll see a hotel extend that until the 30th September but it's rare.
July and August are right in the middle of the dry season and also coincides with the European holiday season, July is also school holidays in Australia.
I've been to Bali a couple of times now in June, and I reckon it's the best time to go.
It's well and truly after the wet season so there's not quite as much rain and humidity yet the rivers seem to be fuller and the place appears greener, and it's before the July/August 'rush' so it's usually a bit quieter.
I think all other prices in Bali are the same year round (except maybe EOFY store June sales)so if you've already paid for accomodation then your spending money amount probably shouldn't need tweaking.
