blender, omelette maker, coffee machine, toaster, jug, grinder, laptop all brought from Australia.
All work perfectly well.
I have fitted surge diverters to most outlets to protect from spikes, but the lower voltage has little effect on the way in which my appliances work.
Australian utilities work on 230 - 240V. but a reasonable percentage of variation is allowable by the regulating authorities, which means that the actual working voltage may not be hugely different.
Some electrical appliances are cheap in Bali, but also poor quality.
Also not all are cheap.
A decent auto coffee machine will cost as much as a 125cc scooter.
