go to Legian, they are even in the far remote villages, usually just a counter with one staff member, lots of phone advertising at the front and a sandwich board that lists all the prices for top ups. I am seriously thinking of a drive to legian now, as we have at least 7 in our village. I can think of at least 40 on the highway to Kuta.

You can also buy them for 50,000IDR, should have 50,000IDR credit on it though.

Also, you will always find one at any supermarket, just outside.
Pulsar means credit, the shop is not called The Pulsar shop, pulsar is what you buy (credit). 9 times out of 10 they will sell mobile phones (maybe on 3 or 4) and mobile phone covers. Actually, now I think of it, you can even get pulsar at my laundry and one of the houses up the road sells it as well.
