It's on the corner of Monkey Forest Rd & Jl Raya Ubud - diagonally opposite the Palace & to the left across from the Markets.
I don't think Besakih is easy to get to from Ubud. Look at a map. BTW Besakih is hassling to the nth degree. The touts are pains & destroy the ambience.
Even though I have been going to Bali since '83, I always take the latest Lonely Planet or Rough Guide book. Plenty of good info & well worth the money if you want to do more than just shop & eat on the coastal strip.
