Perhaps you could read your post again and rephrase it as it's a little confusing.
If what I think you're saying is that Rp20,000 to an Indonesian means more than $2 to an Aussie, then of course you are right.
But as the poster is talking about feeling ripped off, then I'm thinking that we should be talking from the poster's perspective and what the price means to him/her, not what the price paid means to an Indonesian.
