Basically the border between Legian & Seminyak
Maharta is very central in Legian & has just had some refurbishment (since Niksoma took over management)

Rama Garden is also central but pretty close to pubs & music in Jln Padma
Smaller motel type accommodation
Bali Ayu for me is too far out as is Seri Suites in Kerobokan
You may find it difficult to get everything you want
ie
fairly new, nice big pool, swimup bar & nice bathroom all under $100
So are you basically after a hotel room rather than a villa/complex setup?
I would still narrow down the areas you are searching in
eg if Legian, use beach side of Jln Legian from Melasti St to Jln Double 6
If nothing there then move upwards/north..say Jln Double 6 to Jln Laksmana
You have mentioned places from central & outer Legian, Seminyak and north to Kerobokan (which is a bit all over the shop :)
The amount of options in that area will make your head spin..
