the action, the food, the shopping, or are you concerned the hotel itself is in the never never?...its prob 5-10min walk the most to main drag, 15min to beach straight down Jln 66, the only real concern is at night it is a dark street once u r off Jln Nakula, but i walked it on my own numerous times. as for where it is in seminyak/legian in my opinion i love this area of bali, it close to the best restaurants, warungs, seminyak boutiques, at the end of Nakula there is a doctor, chemist, 2 cirle K, a bottlo, banks and just down the rd is Bintang supermarket, but of cause not so central like Kuta with the bars etc at your doorstep, but thats why i choose to stay in this area, you dont get hasseled and i dont mind walking, if you are unsure dont do it, id hate for you to stay there and hate it! everyones opinion and experiences are different...if you want central central, i suggest you look toward legian area more, poss try the new hotel THE 101 they have had some opening specials running, i scored a room there for June for $70pn...prob have confused you even more now haahaa! good luck!!! hope you find something soon, or you will be pitching a tent on the beach!
