I'm a Trip Advisor contributor and give much more credence to other contributors who who have written reviews of multiple places in different locations on different dates and run by different companies. If you click on a contributor's name you can see what else they've written and get an idea of how objective their reviews are.
Interestingly, I just received an email from the Padma today which included a link to write a Trip Advisor review about my stay there last week. Explains why they have so many reviews by single contributors.
