you may need to look further than the popular resorts which have all increased prices immensely. A Travel agent friend told me many popular hotels have now reduced rooms for wholesalers as they can charge almost full price direct and get it.
There are plenty of places under $100.00, look outside the square :)
August is a peak season so you will find many places already fully booked, but keep looking.
Have you tried Kusnadi, Bali Court, Grand Kumala??
