Wondering if anyone in Bali can physically check and see if this hotel is still open or not. I too called - and was told by them that it was a local paper who had a beef with them so were supplying them with bad publicity.
I would like to know if such a sign has actually been posted on the hotel in 'Indonesian and English' as one report claims.
I also contacted Best Western in my country - they have also heard these stories and have checked, checked and checked again and the company is not aware of any such closure. This is a world wide company. I would love to hope its not just a smear campaing, but I am doubtful.
