i contacted the hotel yesterday and they are STILL open. if you think back to two years ago when the Anantara faced similar bad publicity - word in the news was that the local banjar were there with sledgehammers smashing the place down. that CLEARLY wasnt the case.
the Best Western is still operating, as far as i am told. it appears that someone has a beef with them, or they didnt pay off the right person, so this bad publicity is stemming from that.
i have been told that NO guests will be moved to other hotels, and that the hotel will remain open.
