We stayed at Villa Laella for ten days in January. It is a lovely villa and we were taken care of every day by Kadek who prepared our breakfast, cleaned the villa and did our laundry (all part of the service at no extra charge.) She stayed for about 4 hours per day but is very unobtrusive.

The whole place is very clean, the linen lovely and the beds are good quality but a little hard for us. Two fellows come in most days to attend to the pool which is beautifully clean and my favourite thing of all!!The two bathrooms are really good but there is no bath.

The kitchen is well equipped with the only thing missing, a microwave. The gang runs off Laksmana and isnt named so until you get used to giving the taksi directions around the side of the furniture shop you might find it a minor difficulty. My suggestion would be to get the staff at the Villa to pick you up from the airport if you dont have your own driver.

We loved it but usually we stay a little closer towards Legian. Even though it was near to all the well known restaurants we found ourselves returning to those we love most and they are around Legian. This years trip has seen us book a villa closer to "home," but if we could move Laella into the area we favour I would have not a moments hesitation in returning.

Hope this helps, trust the photos, they are very accurate.

Susie
