Kartika Elektronik is cheaper than Carrefour & they will deliver for free if not too far. Their starting price is cheaper than Carrefour & then you can get a bit more off if you ask for best price. They are located across from Supernova on Jl Raya Kuta. I have purchased several items from them & they are very good & have good range to choose from.
Prices on washing machines depend on if you get twin tub or fully automatic. Prices range from 1.5k to 3.5k.
As another person suggested, it's a good idea to see which type your Balinese friends would prefer re water & electric etc.
