I generally stay in the Jl Padma Utara area. I book direct with the hotels via email and they've always been happy to negotiate a discount for extended stays. I've done this with Garden View Cottages and Three Brothers in the past - both hotels took a few emails back and forth to get the final deal, just like haggling at the market really :). I've also stayed at Sri Ratu who offer a discount up front on longer stays without need for negotiation - but it's not a hotel I'd stay at again, nor would I recommend it.
This trip I've booked to stay at Rama Garden in Jl Padma. They have an online booking system, plus are available through various sites such as Agoda etc. But I just emailed them and asked what rate they'd offer for 31 nights. They came back with a generous discount without a need to haggle. They quoted in US$ and I paid the first night up front (via prepaid credit card). I've purchased US$ cash to pay the balance - though I should have waited a week or two longer, lol.
