were, on 2 occasions,once in bali and once in langkawi when we could not open our safe to get our things back out-on both occasions we used the correct codes but the safe did not recognise code. we alerted reception on both occasions and both times the key they had to use -i guess it was a master key-did not work and they had to call in ouside maintenance staff to open the safe-the staff looked stressed and embarrassed about the problem but it was sorted eventually-makes me think that not all in room safes are that easy to be broken in to!!!
