Last week I had a query about eating on beach at Jimbaran, but blowed if I can find my posting on the forum. Today I read about someone having chicken at one of the little places. That would suit me. Hope there are other meals we can get there as well. Unfortunately I cannot eat anything that is too spicy or has chilies. I am determined to try eating on the beach this year at least a couple ot times. or at least in the buildings as I have been told that it is cheaper. We did eat on the beach in 2003 our first trip to Bali. Wasn't very impressed with the sunset/food or price. As we are staying at Jimbaran this year for a week have stayed there for 3 years so I have read up on the tips. Will probably try the seafood as well. Also has anybody recently been to deMEMEdi restaurant and lounge at the GWK memorial. (Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park) Jln. Raya Ulawatu. Last time we were staying at Jimbaran we were going to have a look at the memorial and then a fellow guest told us he went the previous day and it was in a bad state. Can anyone comment please. We hadn't heard of the restaurant then. Is Trattoria Jimbaran Bay still therethere are good reports but that is 2008 and nothing since, so info would be appreciated. How we fare will probably have an impact on whether we will stay part of the time at Jimbaran next year. Thanks
