Loved reading about your experience in Ubud. I also love Ubud and the surrounding areas. They have some amazing restaurants, the shopping is fantastic plus there is just so much to do. I stayed at the Komaneka Bisma on my last trip there and fell in love with that hotel. It's a bit on the pricey side but well worth it.
