A wheelchair in Bali is do-able - have been twice with someone who cannot walk at all but can stand to tranfer - stayed at the Padma and Legian Beach Hotel - both have great facilities. At the Padma had to hire a shower chair from outside source. The Legian Beach Hotel has everything and the pool even has sloping ramped access into the pool. If getting in to small toilet doorways is an issue then have a look at www.whizbiz.com.au . Bali Safari and Marine Park is totally wheelchair friendly. Anything is possible in Bali they are so helpful
