Good morning everyone,

Firstly, no rain yesterday. It became quite overcast in Legian yesterday afternoon, but we were fortunate to avoid any rain. This morning has dawned a bit overcast again, but it doesn't look threatening, and I'm hoping it will all clear up soon.

Yesterday morning, after ascertaining that the older members of our family group were not willing to wander out for breakfast, hubby, myself and the kiddies skipped down to Zanzibar for breakfast.

Yummy! Most importantly, the banana pancakes! *Drool* Both boys ordered them, and I (being a pancake connoiseur) was very very impressed. Breakfast, plus 2 rounds of drinks for all four of us, 300k.

After breakfast I dragged mumsie out to Rezeky tailor. I had 2 blouses, and 2 shirts to have copied, with mum having a further top she wanted copies made of.

Very professional thus far, at our request we were told quantities and types of fabric required, and as I had some very intricate colour / pattern matching to do, we headed off to Alta Moda to pick our materials.

Now I was expecting a giant multi storied warehouse, thick with fabric dust, and fully expected to be bundling around with giant rolls of fabric slung over my shoulder as I negotiated piles of miscellaneous materials.

Instead I found myself in a very upmarket, and rather posh establishment. A cosy airconditioned showroom, with gorgeous fabrics displayed in custom cabinetry, while a flurry of polite and helpful sales persons rushed around to fulfill my every desire.

All I needed was a full length mirror, a couple of chaise lounges, and a small table with tea and biscuits, and I would have been happy to cast myself in the role of any genteel lady from the 1600's at a high class ladies haberdashery. So nice :)

The fabric choices were divine, and rather than not having enough choice, I found myself with too much and ended up with more blouses to be made than originally intended!

After our purchases (600k for 6 blouses) I presented them to Rezeky Tailors, and with a promise of returning this afternoon, Wednesday and again Friday, I expect everything to be done to perfection. Lets wait and see. :)

A quick walk 'home' a half hour swim in the pool, and I was ready for whatever else the day had in store for me. This turned out to be dinner at Mozzarella.

Well... yesterday was the day for fantastic food! Uncle is still not feeling well, so Auntie stayed home with him, and the rest of us (plus Nyoman) waltzed off to Mozzarella for the yummiest cocktails, and fantastic food.

Just under 1mill Rupiah, served mains, desserts, and 2-3 rounds of drinks for us all. It was really yummy, and I cannot recommend a visit to Mozzarella's enough!

We brought a serve of Mee Goreng home for Aunty, and Mozzarella were very accommodating in arranging it for us. Aunty proclaimed it to be one of the best she's had since our arrival, so all were happy.

Well, except for poor Uncle, who has been on a water and cracker diet for the past 36 hours. With long standing stomach problems, a case of travellers belly is not affecting him kindly at all. Maybe BIMC today to get him checked out.

The rest of the evening was spent 'round tabling' and discussing past exploits of all family members. Many laughs were had, and some fascinating stories were told.

A lovely day :)
