had a fall while we were in Bali and had to be in a wheelchair for the whole of our 4 week stay. Found it very difficult pushing her around as the paths are awful we would be up and down on the path on the roads etc but one thing we found was that the Balinese were always helpful, someone would always open a door help get the chair up and down footpaths. And we were lucky that the hotel we stayed at had large rooms with a big bathroom so plenty of room to move the chair. We stayed in Sanur.
