We went to Echo Beach in January and were really disappointed.
I had heard about it on here and looked on the website, it looked fantastic!
We got a taxi out there, I can't remember how much it cost us but it took almost an hour to get there. When we finally arrived there were no tables available, we waited for about 15 mins then there was one available across from the bbq. The food was ok, but I have had better. Very slow service and had to wait for ages for drinks. Sunset was incredible though so worth the drive out there for that.
Lucky the empty bottles hadn't been removed from the table as they tried to charge us for drinks we hadn't had! We had ordered drinks from two different people as the first lot never arrived, but they charged us for both.
All in all the service was pretty slack, food wasn't that flash and the drive out there was very long winded. Coming back to the hotel however was a completely different route to what we had taken and got back to Legian in 20 mins or so!
I personally wouldn't bother going again but it seems like others have had a very different experience to ours.
