You are right, your cell phone is probably locked and will not work in Bali.
You can buy sim unlocked Nokia phones and a local sim card (Simpati is good) and they will set it up for you. Not sure of the cost as we have not done it for a few years, but it is reasonably cheap.

I am not sure about coverage on Lembongan but being very close to Bali it should work there.
