Swimwear:
There is a place called 'Climax' on Jalan Legian, not sure of exact address but am sure you will find it if you search forum. They can make swimwear for you and also sell off the rack as well. I have read that it's best to take under-wire (perhaps from old bra??) with you as they do not have this or the quality is not good, can't remember which??
Kids Suits:
I think your best bet is to try and find something at Centro which is the huge and fantastic department store at Discovery mall in Tuban, all taxis should know the address. There is a very large kids section and you might find something nice for them to wear. I am sure you will also find some things that you like as well, they also sell swimwear. This is a fixed price store and not cheap compared to markets however cheaper than Aus.
Fabric: There is a place called Alta Moda, again I'm not sure of address but you could do a forum search and you should find it-great fabrics when I was there last. There is also a street in Denpasar near the markets which many refer to as 'fabric st' if you take a taxi to the markets you will find this street. Be careful not to allow ladies to follow you around the markets and offer to walk you to shops as they will ask for commission. A lot of fabric to choose from and you should be able to find something here. Take a strong stomach and a good camera if you plan on walking through the markets, lots of handicrafts but the strong stomach is recommended to cope with all the raw fish/chicken in the hot sun-gross!!
I have read on forum before that's it's best to take lining from home for suits but I can't be sure why, perhaps the quality is not as good. At a guess, given Bali is such a hot climate it may be difficult to find winter weight lining.
