find a small restaurant on the beach. This is the Moonlight Bar, there is often subdued acoustic music there in the evenings.
The golf course nearby has the Sector Bar, which also has live music on a regular basis.

Alas neither of these places may not be good for meeting other folk for a chat.
The Ducks Nutz has live music on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7 PM. There is also live music there from 2 PM until 7 PM on Sundays. This is opposite the Gazebo Hotel and there is always a friendly crowd there.
There are a number of good restaurants along the beach south of the Inna Grand. I reckon the Beach Cafe is the best along that strip.
When at the Hyatt again head south along the beach and you will come to Komilfo Restaurant and also the Bamboo Restaurant. Both are worth a visit.
