We stayed at a villa behind Bali Deli a few years ago and found an excellent money changer (hopefully they are still there) on Jalan Kunti.
It's not a Kodak shop, but just authorised money changer, with a large dark blue sign.
If you are at Bali Deli and walk out of the front door to the road - turn left towards Sunset Road and about 150m on that same side of the road you will find the money changer shop - there are a strip of new shops there now, and the money changer is kind of at the end of them. If you get as far as Sunset without finding it, then it has disappeared you have gone too far.

They gave receipts and only large notes, so nothing dodgey happened when we visited them numerous times.
