Grand Ocean Suites are nice but the first one we were shown was on the very end so to me it was tiiiiiny..there are only 6 of these rooms so once staning in the room i thought mmmmm once the lounge is unfolded it wont leave alot of space...dont get me wrong these rooms are generous but just this particular one on the end was small...But during our stay i asked to see the downstairs rooms and there is a difference...the rooms in the middle would be my pick i looked at 6102. Alot bigger and with these rooms as you know thier bathrooms are massive...my girlfriend stayed in the room on ground floor on the end maybe room 6101 and she said when doors were open you could see the person sitting on the toilet!!! and envy restaurant looks straight in...Room 6103 is right next to a service area then its the restaurant to i dont know what noise that would get but i chatted with someone on tripadvisor and they said it was ok...
There is a major difference with King Baruna as when you walk into King Baruna its a powder room with toilet then a really large lounge with foldout bed desk etc and balcony. Then there is a corridor with wardrobes to main bedroom with chair - bed and desk and huge seperate bathroom and i mean huge and another seperate toilet....we upgraded for $50 a night...Everyone was happy 2 tvs 2 toilets, we could close the door to lounge to let kids sleep and we could go out to our own balcony as we has 2 side by side...
Dont get me wrong the Grand Ocean Rooms are still big but i didnt like the only one left for us and for 2 weeks in it and with our ceremony and we had people back to our room the extra space was nice...I will be loading some pics soon on my facebook page if your interested...hope this helps if you would like any other info let me know - hope i havent confused you...Lisa
