Hi Guys,

Morning has dawned wih blue skies and fluffy white clouds again. Had a real downpour in the early hours that managed to wake me up, but its all looking gorgeous again today.

I think I'm going to have to stop writing my daily epics at the end of each day. I'm usually exhausted and my brain has stopped working.

For instance, I woke up this morning and couldn't believe that I had failed to mention the chilli.

My husband is the only real chilli eater amongst us, and takes great pride in tackling those chilli ladened dishes that the rest of us run and hide from. Yesterday was no different.

When we were at Dirty Duck Diner, both mum and Uncle ordered the Crispy Duck special. This comes with a couple of little bowls of dipping sauce. The first they tried... hot. The second they tried... firey!

Hubby of course immediately lept into action, and devoured both, despite copious warnings from us all that he should pace himself.

You could see the steam coming out of his ears, and even he hinted that the afterburn might have been more than he had bargained for.

Nevertheless, he powered on through, and with a victorious if slightly steamy smile, finished to rounds of "oohh... he's going to pay for that later" and "at least he won't get Bali Belly, those chilli's are going to kill everything!".

We were right... he did pay for it later. Hehehehe!!

We ordered Mexican for dinner, and had it delivered using the Hallo! Restaurants service. (Highly recommend!)

So Hubby is faced with more chilli.... which he nibbled at. Then disappeared quite suddenly. Returned to quiet chuckles. Disappeared again... stayed away for a while. Came back, bravely attempted to eat, and then gave up, defeated at last, before 'trotting' back to the toilet for the remainder of the evening. :)

I'm just really really hoping that he doesn't explode in the lazy river at Waterbom today. hahaha
