Have stayed at Legian beach and loved it! Staff where super friendly, food in resturant was great, they have a squirrel feeding tree on the grounds which was fun to watch feeding times. Rooms where amazing, we stayed in a bungalow type room, very clean and room service was yum! (they have this moose you must try!). Only things I can fault is that it is a large resort, so you might get lost at times, and on our stay we had a cat with kittens in our roof, we asked staff to do something about it (one it was a but noisey and two cause I was worried they where stuck) and they didnt seem to do too much about it. (Maying to be there wasnt much they could do) but overall one of the best places I have stayed in Bali, great location. we where origionaly wanted to stay at padma but they where doing some major renos (this was last sept) and apparently they must have burst a surige pipe or something cause (and you can check on the forum archives and trip advisor) practicly everyone got REALLY sick (ok, maybe not everyone but Id say 80%). Its probably over with by now but it was enough to throw me off. Because they are next to each other we walked past a few times and they where gutting the front, sh*t was everywhere but Id imagen not the whole hotel was effected and it is probably all done now :)
