i am told that Idul Fitri (the end of Ramadan) will begin on the 29th. Now, given that that's a Monday, the roads in Bali will be busy from Saturday the 27th, or even the Friday. There will be 2 or 3 days of public holidays (29, 30, 31 are most likely) and traffic in Bali will be particularly heavy.
most busy areas will probably be Jl Legian, Jl Pantai, Simpang Siur (the big roundabout near BIMC and Planet Hollywood) and jimbaran (particularly around 5pm).
