We have been staying at the Matahari Bungalows during our recent trips and find that the deluxe pool view rooms are good value. At present, they're around $60/night, but you may get them cheaper depending on the agent. The hotel is not far from White Rose. On the same side of Legian St, about 100 - 150mr further up towards Legian. It's probably 2.5 - 3 star, very large rooms, great pool area and great location. We'll be back again in Nov this year.
