Unless someone actually has first hand recent experience of buying spirits Duty Free IN BALI to bring back to Aust, then I wouldn't risk it.
I know that the unopened water I bought at a hugely inflated price 3 metres from the AA Departure Lounge security check was confiscated (& thrown into a huge crate full same - no doubt to be resold - nice little earner).
I think Cheryl is speaking of going TO Bali on AA? As she said, no worries. It's coming back that might be a problem.
