Flight. Left perth with Garuda on time got to Bali on time....couldnt land at Bali because there was a "blockage" on the runway! Interesting....next thing after circling tje airport for about 20min we are climbing again & told we are lansing in surabaya(spelling?) to refuel then fly back to Bali. Was no problem other thanwe git to Bali 2hrs late. On the upside there was no one waiting in immigration so straight through and off to meet our driver who had waited 3 hrs for us! Bless him:).
Cant fault Garuda, brilliant service, in flight entertainment, very comfortable & handled the delay situaion incredibly well. Will fly everytime now as it is worth the extra $.
Bali Ayu hotel is great., afair distancefrom all the crazy busy areas, but same street as Biku cafe! Speakibg ofwhich, i'm heading back to my buttermilk pancakes....
