I do believe 'the Jetstar issue' (and I only returned to Perth today on Jetstar) is a generic 'order' in that you cannot place in your checkin luggage opened bottles of alcohol.We witnessed a checkin bag search whereby the owner, who was honest enough to say she had a part bottle of spirit in her luggage, have to take that bottle to be shrink wrapped (then replaced in checkin luggage) Upon leaving Perth on March 31, it was the first time I have been asked 'do you have any aerosol cans without a cap'? This is all to do with with accidental spillage in the hold and combustibility-most should understand why.
