I agree - not only from a taking lollies from stranger point of view, but also from a dental point of view. Nearly all these kids will never see the inside of a dentists office and to give sugary crap to them is just going to cause them problems later on. When we visit our friends children in Bali, we always take them clothes, books, coloring pads etc - stuff they love and actually use - what they don't know (i.e. lollies) won't hurt them!
