I have a friend who is a food scientist for Cadbury Schweppes and he explained how chocolate is made (While my mouth was watering listening). He explained that in Asia, in the warmer climates they put less butter in the chocolate so it wont melt as fast.
Basically chocolate is made from the exact amount of butter that starts to melt as soon as it is put on your tongue (or kids fingers). In warmer climates they change the recipe (less butter) so the melting point is a higher temperature.
Hope that makes sense. That's why your Toblerone didn't taste as good. That's why I think her choccies will melt once they hit the airport."
