Kumala Pantai is a middle class hotel. i would give it about 3 stars. rooms are clean, two pools, beach front. dark and dingy lobby though. lots of people with kids there.
Pullman is brand new. aiming for 5 stars, but at the moment i would probably give it 4. spacious, well equipped rooms, nice pools (the rooftop is my choice), good brekky, close to melasti for shopping (if thats what you are in to), and close to the Stones (who have a great restaurant).
my choice is Pullman.
