I'm all for helping those in need, but a day's pay - would you tip that anywhere else? Only in exceptional circumstances. e.g. would you tip $150 at an Australian hotel? No, more like $20 - i.e. an hour's pay.

So I think Rp 10,000 is more appropriate as a casual tip.

Whatever the case, make sure you give it to the person directly that you want to tip. Having worked as a hotel cleaner, I can tell you that more often than not, certain supervisors or porters will get to the room first and clean it out of tips, fridge left-overs etc.
