We've spent the last two Christmases in Bali and have booked differently each time. The first year we booked less than 6 weeks out - last minute decision! Last year we booked in June as we were a bit more organised. Too be totally honest - not a huge price difference with each booking (family of five travelling both ways with luggage) and we stay at a villa so had this available to us each time also.
Christmas is a brilliant time in Bali - mmmm so is Easter, Lent, Nyepi, New Year, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Winter, Summer - let's face it any time in Bali is better than being at home doing the normal work routine!!
