From recent experience, 3 trips since September last year, the immigration lines have improved 100%.
Funnily enough the other Friday night when we were leaving we noticed a small window on the way down the steps into the Prada Lounge from which you can view the immigration arrivals hall, and I stood and watched everyone rushing in, there were only small queues then as well, so I guess you could say that 4 times since September I have seen only small queues at immigration.
Its a personal choice, if you are happy to spend the extra then do it, we have used the quick method once, but I would not bother again at the moment as things seem a lot quicker.
