We stayed in Sanur in February and spent the first half of our trip at the budget Swastika Bungalows (which is great for the price - our second stay there) and the second half at the Hyatt which was gorgeous. I think we paid US$137.00 per night (the awaken package) which includes an amazing daily breakfast.
The Hyatt is located on the beach front and the grounds cover 36 acres of amazing beautiful gardens. It's huge! Heaps of resturants within the hotel if you choose to dine in (although a little pricey compared to the street)however there are tons of good resturants within a short walk from the hotel. They have 2 gorgeous swimming pools with a hot spa and plunge pool/dip next to the pool with the water fall. They have a kids club too and babysitting is available if you need a little break. There are tennis courts and a small golf course too!
Staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely quiet hotel too, certainly no "yobbo" element there.
Our room was lovely, 2nd floor overlooking the gardens but we also had a beach view too. Lovely balcony to sit out on and watch all the comings and goings :) Our room included a flat screen tv and a dvd player will be brought to your room free of charge if you want one. The walk in robe also had a safe for our passports, cash etc. Perfect room with everything you could need.
There's a day spa, a few hotel shops including a pharmacy and an in-house doctor. They also have a free shuttle which has several daily runs to sister property Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua. You are able to use all facilities there and we treated it as a free day trip.
The Grand Hyatt is right on the beach too and has 2 swimming pools one of which is a kids pool with a nice gentle water slide. Staff are super friendly there as well.
I would highly recommend the Hyatt in Sanur, we can't wait to get back. We loved our little budget gem the Swastika but have now been spoilt by the Hyatt and will certainly stay there again...and again..and again... :)
