Try the Cendana Resort & Spa which is right in the heart of Monkey Forest Road near to all. We stayed in a deluxe room ($AUD 90 pn) recently but the superior ($AUD 75) and standard rooms (only $AUD 50) are much cheaper and we believe not really worth the extra for the deluxe. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, reading light, lockable cupboard and a private bathroom with a western type toilet, wash basin, shower & bathtub, hot & cold water. We would definitely stay there again and perhaps in the Standard Rooms close to the Reception Area and top Pool.
