Flew with Jetstar into Bali for a holiday and met up with friends and had a great time.
First we stayed at Villa R ahasia in Jl Sahadewa Legian for 1 week. We stayed here last year and it is such a great villa ...very reasonably priced for just the 2 of us. Highly recommended, and close to everything including the beach.
After the first week we packed up and headed to Nusa Lembogan. We stayed at a friends house and ate a few meals at Linda's This is a great hotel and restaurant attached and right on the water.
Weather this time around in Bali was very unsettled with Thunder and lightening and lots of rain.
When we returned to the mainland we stayed at Legian Beach Hotel. Getting a bit pricey now though....Great breakfasts!
Had a few days on the beach, seeing old Balinese friends (beach sellers) and some fantastic Nasi for lunch off the cook near Sammi and Suzies.
Had a great day in Ubud buying presents for the girls at work and all the nieces and nephews. I certainly lived up to my name.
Good to see a few new style dresses, and shoes out there in the markets. Also did the Ketut fixed price shop thing. There was talk a while back about Ketut moving. She is still in the same place.
Back home and planning the next trip already..Bali gets under your skin and that is all I can think about when I return to Australia
