Just back from Bali 2 days ago. Have seen many posts about prescription glasses on forum from people who have gone to Mr Honeyman who is outside Bintang Supermarket in Seminyak.
I found the guy outside Bintang Supermarket who is actually Mr Honeymans brother and the brother comes out to your hotel with all the frames etc. When the brother came out to our hotel he told us he is in process of going out on his own and we could order through him (cheaper) or through his brother.
We ordered our glasses through MR HONEYBOY (which was the brother).
Had prescription reading glasses done for me and my brother, prescription sunglasses for me and a friend. Glasses were ordered at 7pm one day and ready at 5pm next day. All very happy with them. Price was 50,000 Rupiah each pair (aus $57).
